energyhive: people helping you save energy

energyhive is run by a group of people with a common goal. Our goal? To help people save energy, and do our small bit towards reducing carbon emissions. Our backgrounds are varied but our skills are all relevant to what we are doing with energyhive; we are technologists, entrepreneurs, marketeers, behavioural change specialists and designers. Ultimately we are all problem solvers who enjoy working with our members to solve what is the world's common problem - managing climate change.

Our technical strength is due to our technical team at Hildebrand; they've designed the system to be quick, efficient, and able to support millions of users. Hildebrand's energy expertise is extensive and includes the technical leadership role on the European-funded research project DEHEMS (studying how technology can be used to improve domestic energy efficiency) and the development of one of the first thin client computing services, lightapp.
